Masters in Mass Communication & Journalism along with Post Graduation in Development Communication from AJK MCRC, Jamia Millia Islamia specializing in communication studies with a development perspective. She has completed her PhD in Mass Communication in 2022.

She is having ten years of experience in teaching UG/ PG students. She has worked as Head of Department cum Assistant Professor at School Of Mass Communication & Journalism, AAFT, Marwah Studio and also taught at YWCA , Delhi & Kalindi College after the industry and teaching experience with Press Information Bureau (PIB), Doordarshan, Dainik Jagran and other freelance research projects.

Her core area of teaching is TV Journalism, Writing for TV, Documentary Filmmaking, Reporting in the Digital Age, Development Communication, Mass Communication theories, Media Laws & Ethics, etc.

She was awarded of best Short Documentary Film on “Kullu Dussehra Festival” in Cell Phone Cinema competition organised by AAFT, Noida & Screened at Indian Pavilion, during Cannes Film Festival, France- 2019. She has also awarded by State Government under “Beti Bachoo Beti Padhao” campaign in Haryana for her academic excellence.
