Course Overview :

The course aims to educate and train all the aspects of TV Journalism including  the usages of social Media and Web Journalism. A well rounded TV journalist should be capable of writing, shooting; editing and directing his/her own presentation. To this end, the academy will provide the students with the necessary instructions, hands-on practical experience and help them develop an aesthetic appreciation of the screen as a medium of communication. A television journalist has to visualize his presentation with moving images and therefore, he has to understand and make use of the potential of the camera for picturisation; he has to make a judicious use or the shot material and, therefore, he must learn the art and craft of editing; he must work on his voice and speech for reading the news, interviewing people and anchoring a show; he must also learn the art of writing for the screen, directing and producing a show. In other words, besides understanding what journalism and communication is all about, he has to train himself as a presenter, cameraperson, video editor, director and producer. The students of this course will be supported to develop skills through theoretical instructions, practical classes and production projects. There are indeed several routes to the television industry. A good media school, however, is one which will provide good pleasure to its student into the world of electronic journalism.
